Brotherhood Lacrosse Fall Elite Team FAQ
What
is expected of me if I am selected for a Brotherhood Lacrosse Fall Elite Team?
The Brotherhood Lacrosse staff expects a full commitment
from all of its players. Every player is
expected to attend a
minimum of 6
team practices and 2 tournaments.
Players who do not meet this commitment will lose playing time.
How
much does the program cost and what does it include?
The fall elite team fee is $850.00. This includes coaching, a custom Brotherhood
Lacrosse uniform (jersey, shorts, and practice jersey) 3 tournaments, 7 team
practices, and a team community service project.
When
does the fall season begin?
The fall elite season begins in early September and will end in
mid November.
When and
where are practices held?
All Practices will be held at Northern Highlands High
School. Practices will be on Sunday
mornings between the hours of 8:30 am-11:30 am.
Each team will have 7 practices. Practice schedules will be sent out
with invitations to the team.
How
many tournaments do we attend and where are they?
Each team attends 3 fall tournaments. All of the tournaments take place on
weekends in October and November. The tournaments we attend are
all within driving distance. (The
furthest tournament we attend is roughly 2 hours away)
All players are responsible for providing their own transportation to
tournaments.
Does
every player receive equal playing time in games?
Every
player will receive playing time in our summer tournaments. We carry
small rosters to ensure that there is enough playing time to go around.
Certain players may receive more time than others based on game
situations etc. but we believe it is important for all players to be
rewarded with playing time for their hard work and effort in team
practices.
How
do I know if I've made the team?
All players will be notified via email within 2 weeks of the tryout. Emails and phone calls will not be returned during the 2 week evaluation period.
