Brian O'Rorke
(Brotherhood Lacrosse Director)
















Brian brings professional experience to
Brotherhood Lacrosse as a former member
of the New Jersey Pride.  Brian was the
first player ever to be drafted and signed
by a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) team
from the Providence College Lacrosse
Program.   O'Rorke's number 24 is the first
and only number to be retired by the
Providence College Men’s Lacrosse
Program.  Brian began his career at
Montclair High School in New Jersey
where he was an All-State defenseman in
his junior and senior years.  He continued
his lacrosse career at Providence College
where as a four-year starter, he led the
Friars to an unprecedented four-straight
MAAC Championship Tournament
berths.  He was named Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the
Year during his first season with the team
(2001) and followed as a MAAC three-time
Defensive Player of the Year and three-
time All-MAAC First Team selection (2002,
2003, 2004), making him Providence
College's most decorated men's lacrosse
player of all-time.  In 2003 and 2004 Face-
off Magazine selected Brian as a Division I
Pre-Season All-American. In his senior
year he was selected to play in the USILA
North/South Classic All-Star Game and
was honored with the prestigious Mal
Brown Award, which is given annually by
the Providence College Athletic Program
to the male athlete whose career of
intercollegiate competition most portrays
sportsmanship, courage and honor. Brian
is currently the Co-Head Varsity Lacrosse
coach at Northern Highlands High School
and the co-founder of Brotherhood
Lacrosse.
Kyle Ojakian
(Brotherhood Lacrosse Director)
















Kyle brings Division I coaching experience
to Brotherhood Lacrosse as a former
Offensive Coordinator for Providence
College Men's Lacrosse Program.  During
his three-year tenure at PC Kyle coached
the Friars to two regular season MAAC
Titles, the 2004 Post-Season MAAC
Championship,  and a trip to the NCAA
tournament where he coached against #1
Johns Hopkins. Ojakian played High
School lacrosse at Cheshire High School
in Connecticut where he holds the records
for the most assists in a game (9) and in a
season (61).  In his senior year at Chesire
he received 1st Team All-State honors.  
After graduating from Chesire High
School, Ojakian spent two years at Dean
College where he served as team captain.  
At Dean, he set the single-season assist
record with 55 in 2000, and ranks first
all-time in career assists with 85. In the fall
of 2000 Kyle transferred to Providence
College.  At Providence Ojakian was the
first-ever All-MAAC First-Team selection
in 2001 and 2002 and he led the league in
assists in both of those seasons.  In 2002
he ranked first in the nation among NCAA
Division I players in assists (41) and
assists per game (2.73 apg).  Ojakian set
the single-season assist record and
single-season scoring record at Providence
during his senior season.   Kyle is
currently the Co-Head Varsity Lacrosse
coach at Northern Highlands High School
and the co-founder of Brotherhood
Lacrosse.
Chip Casto
(Brotherhood Lacrosse Coach)












Chip Casto brings 18 years of coaching
experience to the Brotherhood Lacrosse
staff and a great understanding of how to
build championship players, teams,
programs and people.  Casto began his
playing career at Montclair High School in
New Jersey where he was the captain of
the 1984 State Championship team and
earned All-State Honors.  Following his
High School career he continued his
success at Hobart College where he was a
4-time Division III National Champion.  
After graduation, Chip began his coaching
career as an Assistant Coach at the
University of Notre Dame (91-93).  During
his tenure at Notre Dame Chip coached
the Fighting Irish to two NCAA
Tournament Births. After leaving Notre
Dame he returned home to his alma mater
to teach and coach at Montclair High
School.   Chip served as the Assistant
Coach/Offensive Coordinator for
Montclair for 15 years. (1989-2004).  
During those 15 seasons Chip
accumulated another 2 state titles in 92
and 97 and helped to develop numerous
All-Conference, All-State, and
All-American players.  Currently Chip is
the assistant coach at Bergen Catholic HS
in NJ.  
Drew McMinn
(Brotherhood Lacrosse Coach)
















Drew brings college recruiting expertise to
the Brotherhood Lacrosse Staff as the
current Defensive Coordinator/Goalie
coach for Division 1 Robert Morris
University.  McMinn is entering his 3rd
season on the Robert Morris University
coaching staff.  He possesses great
leadership skills and will make a huge
impact on our programs goalie play.  His
knowledge of the college recruiting
process will be a tremendous asset to the
players and parents of the Brotherhood
Lacrosse Family. Drew McMinn began a
legacy of quality goaltending at
Providence College.  As a three-year
starter, his play garnered many awards
and solidified his position as one of the
greatest goalies in MAAC history.  Drew
holds the all-time single season record for
goals against in MAAC conference
History.  In his other two years as a starter
he added to his legacy by posting the 2nd
and 4th lowest goals against average in
MAAC lacrosse history.  In Drew’s junior
season he ranked 12th in the nation in
save percentage and 4th in the nation in
Goals Against Average.  McMinn’s senior
season was no less impressive posting a
rank of 7th in the nation in both goals
against average and in save percentage.  
Drew was a 1st team all MAAC selection
in both seasons.  McMinn was also voted
into the MAAC all tournament team for
his outstanding play in Providence
College’s first ever MAAC championship.  
A real student of the game, Drew
continues to study the art of goaltending
and relay that information to players all
over the country.  Drew has recently
coached at Top 205, Blue Chip 225, Drew
McMinn Goalie Clinic and Big Shot
Lacrosse.
